CampsLaunch Math Achievement Centers offer exciting and educational one-week camps on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for children ages 3 to 13. Launch Camps are packed with engaging, creative, hands-on projects that are related to math and science. Whether building and launching rockets and model airplanes or programming video games, kids will be having too much fun to even notice that they are learning!
At Launch, we understand that students thrive when they get the individual attention they deserve. We have a maximum enrollment of ten students in each camp, which means we average 3 - 4 students for every instructor at Launch. We also understand the importance of kids playing together, working together and making friends, which is why Launch Camps are so serious about fun!
While students generally work individually to create their very own hands on projects to take home, their days will also be filled with team building exercises, game time, and outdoor activities. Launch Camps are a great place to build lasting friendships, while having fun and learning! Healthy snacks will be provided in the mornings and afternoons. We recommend that children bring a packed lunch each day. Weather permitting we will take our lunches to Central Park for picnic and play time. If you would prefer to have your child buy lunch, we will have a group stop at a local deli on the way to the park. Launch Camps run weekdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Late pick-up options are available.
