Launch Math Achievement Centers offer exciting and educational half-day camps on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for kids ages 6 to 12 years old. From learning how to build robots and rockets to designing playable video games, Launch school vacation camps provide a great way to keep kids active and mentally stimulated while having a blast! Plus, campers get to keep their projects so the fun continues at home.

• Camp pricing: $195 (+ $30 materials fee per camper)

Robots, Rockets & Electronics

Ages: 6-8
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM 

In this hands-on vacation break camp, kids learn about building robots and rockets and electronics, and they also make their very own models to take home! Children wire simple circuits to create burglar alarms, they use corrugated boxes to design crafty Garbage-Bots, and they join balsa wood with glue to build their very own model airplanes.

Video Game Design & Electronics

Ages: 9-12

This vacation break camp is packed with fun and creative electronics projects as well as computer programming lessons, tips and tricks. Using MIT's fun and dynamic Scratch programming language, kids learn to design and program their very own games and animations. Campers also learn about the fundamentals of electronics and mechanics with a series of fun, hands-on projects. From basic circuits to solar powered contraptions, you will not believe the things your kids are able to create! Each child leaves camp with their very own playable video game and electronic gizmos and gadgets they built themselves.
