From Mickey Mouse to Paw Patrol, children have long been mesmerized by their favorite cartoons. In this creative class, kids use coding and off-screen animation to bring their own imaginative character to life! During the design phase, our mini-cartoonists enter the drawing workshop and use their handmade tracing tables to personalize their own characters. Once on paper, each student catapults their creation into a series of scenes and develops an animated story! From 2D hand drawings to stop motion sequencing to digital animations using ScratchJr, Launch’s kids utilize various tools and techniques that have been used over the years to capture the imaginations of viewers around the world!
