Let’s hit the arcade, Launch style! In this class kids use text-based computer programming with the user-friendly Python language to make their version of popular arcade games such as Snake, Space Invaders, and Pong! Python is a challenging yet logical next step for budding programmers confident in their typing skills and ready to move beyond block-based coding. Kids tackle techniques such as variables, computer graphics, coordinate grids, game logic, and more while refining their problem solving and logical reasoning skills. Whether you have coded in Python before or are just beginning, this course will present new challenges for all levels.

Previous experience coding with Scratch or similar highly recommended.
