Hours Of Code 2015
Join students all over the world for an Hour of Code during National Computer Science Education Week from December 7th-13th! In celebration of this week-long event, Launch will be hosting an “Hour of Code” on December 8, 2015 from 5:00-6:00 PM at our Tribeca location.
An Hour of Code is a one-hour activity in which students (1st grade and up) can choose from a variety of self-guided computer programming tutorials. Launch instructors will provide instruction and support to make the hour an exciting learning experience.

Pi Day
This Pi Day, students get to explore the phenomenon of Pi from all angles! Kids get to unlock the digits of Pi through various engaging activities during this hour long exploration. First, students will go on a “Pi Hunt” as they measure various objects around the center in order to discover how Pi is calculated. Then they’ll put their memory skills to the test as they learn the first 10 digits of Pi through an interactive game. Finally kids will make a bracelet that represents the first 20 digits of pi to take home and show off to their friends!
