Faster than the Speed Of Light

Imagine traveling from North America to Europe almost instantly — as fast as or even faster than the speed of light! (Keep in mind the speed of light is 300,000,000 meters PER second!) To you and many of us, the speed of light is fastest in the world. But just recently, scientists have found that they could design a faster-than-light spaceship – a concept known as the warp drive. For five years now, Harold White, a NASA physicist, has been designing a warp drive called the “IXS Enterprise” in hopes of breaking the light barrier that will somehow allow humans to transcend space.
Space travel is currently extremely limited due to our rudimentary technology, and even though NASA claims that developing a warp drive is not feasible right now, many of its scientists such as White himself are exploring the many possibilities to make this idea both mathematically and physically possible.
