Launch Terms + Policies
I will follow the policies below while at Launch:
- Cell phones, iPads, laptops or other technological gadgets are not permitted in class/camp unless provided by Launch.
- Food, drinks, and gum are not permitted in class (food and drinks are permitted in certain camps).
- We do not serve food to children and we are a NUT FREE facility. Please refrain from bringing snacks or consuming foods containing nuts while on premises.
- All parents, caregivers, and children are expected to conduct themselves in ways that do not threaten the safety or well-being of other parents, caregivers, and children.
- Adults must remain within arm’s length of their child at all times while on the Launch premises (for Toddler programs only).
- Children enrolled in Launch programs must be picked up promptly when class or camp ends.
I understand and accept:
- That it is my sole responsibility to ensure that Launch has the correct and current contact information on file for matters pertaining to my child’s enrollment in any program and for medical and non-medical emergencies.
- That Launch may use photographs and/or video taken of me or my child during classes/camp, etc. for marketing, advertising and promotional materials including, but not limited to, display, distribution and/or online.
- The Launch Wellness Policy, which states that children showing any signs of illness including a runny nose, cough or fever may not participate in programs at Launch (at the discretion of Launch staff).
- That Launch is not responsible for any items lost or stolen on the premises of the location or while participating in Launch off-site activities.
- That Launch reserves the right to cancel or modify classes and programs, and/or make changes to instructors and staff.
- That in the event Launch determines in its sole discretion that it is not able or permitted to provide in-person services for any reason, Launch reserves the right to provide services through alternative means, including without limitation, virtual or electronic means.
I agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Whenever a Launch face mask policy is in place for all participants, my child will remain masked at all times while indoors.
- Whenever my child is exhibiting health symptoms that concern the Launch team, I authorize Launch staff to require my child to wear a mask while they are indoors.
- I authorize Launch staff to take my child’s temperature at any point during their time at Launch.
- I certify that my child has no condition that prohibits full participation in activities at Launch.
- I authorize Launch to take my child outside of the Launch center or outside of any other location where camp is being held to have lunch and/or engage in low energy activities.
- I authorize Launch to pick-up my child from school and bring them to the Launch center when my child is enrolled in the Launch school pick-up service.
- I am responsible for the enrolling student and I realize the risk of injury and sickness involved and hereby agree to assume the responsibility of such for my child and further agree to hold harmless Launch, its employees, and all others concerned, and to indemnify them against loss.
- In case of emergency, if I cannot be reached, I authorize Launch, its agents and employees, to contact and secure necessary medical attention for my child.
I understand and accept the following policies for Launch programs:
STEM Classes (including Toddler and pre-K Math classes):
Billing and Payment
Registration for all classes must be paid in full prior to attending your first session. In the event of a trial or drop in, fees must be paid before the start of class on or before the day of attendance.
Cancel Registration and Refund
Students can cancel their registration at any time prior to the third class session. In the event of a cancelled registration, students are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and the cost of sessions that have taken place. No refunds will be given after the third class session. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cancel@launchmath.com and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the program being cancelled, and the reason for the cancellation.
In the event that the Launch center closes due to concerns related to the Covid pandemic, classes will revert to a virtual format and the topics and projects may be altered to adjust for limited availability of project materials in the home. Refunds will not be offered.
Student Absence and Make-Ups
Notification is appreciated but not required when a child is unable to attend a session. There are no official, scheduled make-up classes. However families providing advance notice of a missed session may be able to attend the same class on another day, based on availability. If the same class is not available then Launch may offer a different class to serve as the make-up, based on availability.
One-2-One Program (Math Tutoring):
Billing and Payment
New One-2-One engagements must be paid in full at least 72 hours prior to the start of sessions. Renewal is automatic each month and monthly renewal fees must be paid in full by the 26th of the prior month.
Cancel Registration and Refund
First-time One-2-One students are entitled to a full refund, less a $75 cancellation fee and the cost of the sessions that have taken place, when canceling within 48 hours of the end of the student’s second session. No refunds will be given beyond 48 hours after the end of the student’s second session. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cancel@launchmath.com and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the program being cancelled, and the reason for the cancellation.
Student Absence and Make-Ups
All One-2-One session cancellations must be communicated to Launch no later than 48 hours before the scheduled session start time. Cancellation notifications must be submitted in writing to makeups@launchmath.com and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the program name and the missed session date.
With sufficient notice, students are entitled to two (2) make-up sessions during the course of their enrollment in the program. Make-up sessions are scheduled to take place during the first 2 weeks of the month following the last month registered (the month after cancelling).
Summer Camps:
Billing and Payment
All summer camp registrations require a $100 per camp non-refundable deposit paid at the time of enrollment to reserve your child’s spot in a specific camp. All registration fees are due in full by May 15th, 2023. All registrations with a balance due after May 15th may be subject to cancellation and a forfeiture of all deposits paid.
Cancel Registration and Refund
The summer camp refund policy includes options to switch, transfer or cancel enrollment. All requests to switch/transfer/cancel camps must be sent to cancel@launchmath.com.
Switching Camps: Launch allows campers to switch camp weeks up to two weeks prior to the start of a session (subject to availability).
Transferring Camps: Launch allows one transfer of camp fees to a sibling or family member or friend at any time up to the start of camp. Proof of relationship to camper may be required, and the parents/guardians of the new camper must complete the registration process online and pay $1 for the transfer (special transfer coupon provided by Launch upon transfer request).
Canceling Camps: A $100 per camp non-refundable deposit is required to register. Canceling up to two weeks prior to the start of a camp session is allowed (but deposits are non-refundable). No refunds are provided for cancelations within two weeks of the start of a camp session. If a camper is unable to start or finish a camp week due to medical-related issues, Launch will provide a refund less the deposit and the cost of any days attended (a minimum of 1 prorated camp day is charged, whether or not the camper attended for 1 day). A doctor’s note is required for any medical-related cancelations.

Make-up sessions/days/weeks are not offered for camps.
Holiday Camps:
Billing and Payment
Registration for all camps must be paid in full prior to attending.
Cancel Registration and Refund
Cancellation requests received at least a week prior to the start of camp will result in a full refund, less a $15 administration fee per camp enrollment. No refunds will be processed for requests made within 7 days of the start of camp. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cancel@launchmath.com and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the camp being cancelled, and the reason for the cancellation.
Student Absence and Make-Ups
Notification is appreciated but not required when a child is unable to attend a camp day.
Make-up sessions/days/weeks are not offered for camps.
Launch Learning K-8 Math (1-On-1 Math Enrichment):
Billing and Payment
All associated fees (assessment, materials, and first month) must be paid in full prior to your student’s first session.
Recurring Billing
You agree to pay Launch all recurring charges associated with the plan you subscribe to as described in the “Launch Learning K-8 Math Registration” email you approve at the time you subscribe. You also authorize Launch to charge your chosen payment provider according to the terms of the plan to which you subscribe. The amount of the charges will vary depending on the subscription plan you select. Launch reserves the right to correct any errors or mistakes that it makes even if it has already requested or received payment.
Cancel Registration and Refund
You may cancel your paid subscription by emailing cancel@launchmath.com prior to the end of any month to terminate your subscription at the end of that month. Include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the program name, and the reason for the cancellation. All Launch Learning K-8 enrollments automatically terminate at the end of Launch Learning K-8 Math’s program year, which is May 31, 2023 for the 2022-2023 school year.
First-time Launch Learning K-8 students are entitled to a full refund when canceling before the assessment date. Between the assessment date and the student’s second session the student may cancel and receive a full refund less the non-refundable registration fee, the assessment fee, and the cost of the sessions that have taken place. No refunds will be given after the second session; however, enrollment may be terminated at the end of any month. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to cancel@launchmath.com and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the details of the program being cancelled, and the reason for the cancellation.
Student Absence and Make-Ups
Students are entitled to make-up sessions only under the following conditions: For weekday sessions, Launch must receive notice by 10:00 AM on the day of the session. For weekend sessions (virtual only), Launch must receive notice by 6:00 PM the day before the session. Make-up sessions can be scheduled to take place before a session is expected to be missed or within 14 days after a session is missed (with sufficient notice provided as described above).
Make-up requests for the Launch Learning K-8 Math program must be submitted in writing to makeups@launchmath.com and must include the child’s name, the adult’s name, the missed session date and a list containing requested dates and times for the make-up. Launch will do its best to accommodate all make-up requests. However, the scheduling of make-up sessions is based on availability and therefore may not always be possible before the 14 day window expires.

What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site or place an order. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information, or other pertinent personal information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
To process transactions: Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
To send periodic emails: The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our registration system servers unless you explicitly authorize that the information be retained.
Do we use cookies?
To further improve your shopping experience, Launch partners with third party vendors to evaluate how the website is used and to provide continuous improvement for our services. Like most websites, we use “cookies” for a variety of purposes to improve your visits to the website. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to the hard drive on your computer for record–keeping purposes. For example, we use cookies to understand which web pages are visited, how often they are visited, to remember you when you return to the website, and to generally make the website more user–friendly.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You may decide to reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do decide to refuse all cookies please be aware that some website features and Launch services may be unavailable or may not function properly.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
